Data Export

  1. I can't get much detail about how/if data from Gravity Forms can be EASILY exported to Excel for *non-technical* people. I'd like to have a good sense of this before I recommend this to a potential client. Would love to know soon, as I'm writing the proposal now.

  2. Gravity Forms can export in CSV format easily. It's the only format supported. CSV can be easily imported by Excel or any other spreadsheet program. I'm not sure if that answers your question or not, but I find the CSV format very easy to work with when importing into a spreadsheet. It's not an XLS, but if the system is configured to handle it, the .csv files will open with Excel automatically.

  4. Sure thing. I did not make it clear, but it is Super Easy to export from the Gravity Forms admin. One button. Then select your form from a drop down, check box to include the fields and data you want, and then you can optionally specify a date range.
