Default Messages List in Admin does not show Items

    Hello,
    I'm wondering if it's a misconfiguration of mine work, a bug, or just a choice made by GF devs, but I hope to resolve anyway.

    When I go in
    admin -> forms -> messages (URL: mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_entries)
    I just don't see any message listed

    I just can see messages filtering them with the dropdown form filter (URL: mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_entries&id=3)

    Because I have a lot of forms, I need to be able to list all messages (coming from all forms) by date. But as I'm able to see messages just filtering single forms, I cannot do it.

    Is there a solution or a workaround?

  2. You probably don't see any messages (entries) because their are none for your first form, which is the default. I don't know of a way to get a list of all entries from all forms in the admin. As far as I know, this is the first time it's been requested. I imagine you could create a custom reporting page where you loop through all forms, grab all entries, then sort them all by date or entry ID? Or, just grab all entries for all forms, and display them in reverse chronological order. It's not built in, but you could probably create a custom page which meets your needs. You could even create an RSS feed of entries...

    I must admit I'm quite surprised about that Chris,
    I mean, any entries list in wp has that logic: first screen all last entries, unfiltered.
    then you can filter by category, tag, etc... why not by form?
    and I'm also more surprised by the fact that I'm the first asking for that!

    anyway, I surely can go with the way you suggest... actually I was thinking about using the custom post type add on and saving entries as posts, so I would use the CPT entry list for that.
    but this is surely an extra job that will duplicate my entries, so I'm not 100% sure...

    anyway thanks for reply,
    I will pray that this (simple?) feature will be considered by devs ;)

  4. We'll move this to feature requests. Thanks for the suggestion.
