Displaying "This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged."

  1. I haven't updated my website in a while, however I do visit a few times a week to make sure things are running smoothly. The only thing that I did was make sure the plug-ins stay up-to-date.

Today, however, i noticed that the Mail Chimp plugin in the footer of my site isn't adhereing to my website's design (the text boxes are too big) and it is including a "phone" label with an e-mail validation text box, although I don't require validation. It's also displaying the following message, "This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged."

On top of that, my Contact page (http://www.paperclippedmemories.com/contact-me/) isn't displaying the forms as they were set up. It should show the text and map on the left side of the screen and the form on the right.

Any ideas about what's going on?

  2. Looks like your default forms.css file isn't being loaded. Check your form settings page and make sure the "output CSS" option is still set to "yes". If so, then let us know and we can go from there.
