Does GravityForms have these features?

    hello!
I'm trying to setup a registration form that requires Payment Integration for a school conference. I've been looking all over the web and narrowed my selection to two choices: GravityForms or Jotform.
Jotform has some particular functions that I can't seem to find if GF has:
    (1) Ability for users to edit submissions later
    (2) Dropbox Integration - for users to upload files to my Dropbox
    (3) Conditions - I read on some reviews that GF has less advanced conditions.. is this true?
    (4) Ability to export data as Excel
    (5) Facebook Integration

and these i'm not sure if either has
    (4) Ability to have each submission sent to me as a formatted form (so I can keep track of individual registrations)
    (5) Ability to integrate with events registration plugins.

  3. (1) Ability for users to edit submissions later

No, this is not built in.

    (2) Dropbox Integration - for users to upload files to my Dropbox

No, this is not a feature of Gravity Forms.

    (3) Conditions - I read on some reviews that GF has less advanced conditions.. is this true?

Not sure what conditions you are looking for. Please describe and we can answer objectively.

    (4) Ability to export data as Excel

The entries are exported as CSV, which can be imported by Excel and many other spreadsheet programs.

    (5) Facebook Integration

Please explain how you see this working. There is no explicit integration for Facebook built in to Gravity Forms.

    (4) Ability to have each submission sent to me as a formatted form (so I can keep track of individual registrations)

The submissions are emailed as plain text or HTML. You can format the HTML notifications however you like. Entries are also stored in the database and can be displayed in the wp-admin

    (5) Ability to integrate with events registration plugins.

You can, but this is up to you and will depend on which event/registration plugin you're using.

and also, is there a way to edit Form Warning Messages?

    Yes, this is built in.

thanks for the replies! this really helps in making a more informed decisions.
    just some further questions!

Any idea when the following will be included?
    (1) Ability for users to edit submissions later
    (2) Dropbox Integration - for users to upload files to my Dropbox. (it'll be even better if individual submissions can be converted into PDF and uploaded to my Dropbox.) This will help especially when doing Registration Forms.
    (3) Other forms of Payment Integration - such as Google Checkout, etc.

    Clarification on my previous questions
    (4) Conditions - I'm not totally sure either but personally for me, what I need is the option to guide users to various pages of the form based on their answer and also hide/unhide certain questions based on their answer
    (5) Ability to export data
Will we see additions to this? perhaps exporting as PDF, etc.
    (6) Facebook Integration
For example, I have a facebook page and I want my form to appear on it as one of the tabs.
Secondly, how do make the form draw information from the user's facebook something like this http://www.jotform.com/fit-forms/
    (6) Ability to have each submission sent to me as a formatted form (so I can keep track of individual registrations)
thanks! is there a UI where I can view each users' submission and then choose to reply them? (for example, in a registration form, some users may have filled some entries erroneously. it'll be great if i can view and then reply them fur further action)
    (6) Ability to integrate with events registration plugins.
Could you point me to some that are already working?

thank you for helping me make a more informed decision!

@Carl! just saw your reply! thank you! hope you don't mind my many questions. It's for a student society so every purchase gotta be prudent! (Gravity Forms is great but the initial feedback from the committee is that whether such an expenditure may be a little lavish) :/

apologies again! one more question to Carl!
you mentioned here (http://themesforge.com/tips/pro-theme-development-tips-from-carl-hancock/) that some themes at themeforest are poorly developed and that may cause issues with gravity forms.
could you point me to some that are good? or do most of those "theme frameworks" suffice?
i was thinking of using twitter bootstrap.. but that seems like a coding nightmare

  9. Look forward to seeing dropbox integration for file uploads via Gravity forms.

I am a very satisfied customer of Gravity Forms overall, we use it with the Genesis theme on our site servolve.com

  10. +10 my vote for a Dropbox integration. Along with Multi-files upload function to Dropbox - That would be another excellent feature for Gravity Forms

As far as Facebook integration in the manner you mentioned, you can create the form on a special Wordpress page on your site, that has nothing else there (no header, footer, side bars, menus, etc.) then display that page on a Wordpress business page tab. See some of David's stuff here:

  12. I've written a plugin that will allow Dropbox integration with Gravity Forms. http://www.blueliquiddesigns.com.au/index.php/gravity-forms-dropbox-uploader/.

You can upload multiple files to Dropbox by using multiple upload forms.

    Enjoy.
