Drag & Drop New Fields

  1. After setting up a dozen or so medium-sized complex forms, I really think it's time for GF admin to allow more intuitive adding of new fields. One way to accomplish this could be with allowing people to drag and drop the new fields where they want them in the form. That would save a lot of time dragging the new field all the way up from the bottom of the plugin.

OR, have a feature that would allow selecting and moving multiple form fields in one go.

Form Developers will love you for this improvement. Thanks for the consideration!

  2. This feature is already being considered for a future version. We agree that it would be a great enhancement. Thanks for the suggestion.

  3. Since it's been six months since this topic was brought up, I'm here to ask if this is going to happen any time soon. I've built a job application form that has dozens of fields and multiple pages and it's a huge PITA when I find that I need to add a new field to the top of the first page of the form.

  4. I don't believe it is currently in development. The UI is being refreshed for 1.7 so I will leave this open as a feature request.

  6. another vote for this one here.
Tip: I zoom way out to 20% on my browser, which makes this considerably quicker. But still a huge PITA with long forms.

One way is to click and hold a field and push the Home key on the keyboard in order to get to the top of the page.
