The four topics I found (Pre-filled Booking Form, Make a readonly field, Prepopulated, disabled fields..., disabled fields) didn't provide a solution that worked independently of javascript (jQuery or otherwise).
Is the ability to have readonly populated fields without javascript on the radar for a future version of GF? If it's not already, then I suppose this post could go in the feature request section of the forum.
