Eliminated 5 plugins by installing Gravity Forms

  1. I have been hunting around for 3 days trying to find the right combination of plugins that would allow me to replace the functionality in Photo Smash (a plugin that lets your users submit images and posts them to a cool looking gallery.) Well, I had installed Contact Form 7, CF7 Database Extension, CF7 Dynamic Fields, NextGen Gallery, and NGG Public Uploader to accomplish all of that, and it was bound to become an upgrade nightmare. I needed something better.

Enter Gravity Forms. By using the Post fields, and the pretty functional gallery that's already in my site template, I was able to replace all 5 of those plugins with just GF. The bonus was also replacing all my other forms too, and now I have a nice compact set of plugins to run my site, and a very streamlined process.

    Thanks guys! :)
