Error on User Activation (New Site Creation) Process

Hi there - We have had a very well working "signup" process with gravity forms and our multisite for a few months now. Today, I updated the user activation plugin (and the gravity forms plugin) and we are receiving errors on the registration forms.

We have the form broken into multiple pages and we do not ask for the users email address until the second page.

If the user proceeds to the next page now, they receive an error message, but nothing is highlighted on the form as an error. After testing we realized that the users email address has to be on the first page now or the error persists. It works fine if we move the email address to the first page, but it does not work if the username is on the second page (which we call account creation...).

    Is this a known bug?

Thanks so much for your time.

Are you using the latest WordPress, Gravity Forms and User Registration add-on versions? Can you link to your form? You say username and e-mail address, which one is it exactly?

    Hi David -

Thank you for getting back to us. Yes, we have the most current versions of WP and all Gravity Forms Plugins.

    Here's a link to the form http://ptatechnology.com/register-test/

I've checked the user registration set up as well, even deleted it and started over to verify.

It seems that it's triggering an error based on something on page two (username?) not being entered, but like I mentioned, no error is displaying, just the error message.

Are you using any third party plugins for Gravity Forms? I'm going to ask the developers to chime in regarding this.

Nope. No 3rd Party plugins. Just ones directly from you guys. Thanks David - I'll look forward to input from the developers.

I see that a new update was pushed out today for the User Registration. Thanks for adding our issue to the list. We haven't uploaded it yet, but it look like this is the fix we'll need.

    - Updated multisite username and email validation to only apply if the correct page is being validated.

    I'll keep you posted.

    Thanks again.
