Face book Connect integration with Gravity Forms

  1. Hi - i LOVE this plug-in - i use it for competitions and polls on a Face book application we've built for a client - does everytihng we want it to do!

I do have one question however - in the Facebook application we have, the user usually comes into the competitiions page connected so that we have access to their email and basic inforamtion at that stage - what would be fantastic would be if their were some sort of FB connect add-on to gravity forms so that this basic information could be populated into the fields (name, email for example) automatically?

    Are there any such features?

Thanks for your time and well done on this product!

  3. There is no functionality like this at this point. I have not kept up on FB apps, FBML or iframing content into Facebook. I imagine it's possible, but the customization comes on the Facebook end, not Gravity Forms. You would create the Gravity Form and then embed it at Facebook.

There is something like this for Wufoo but I have not seen it for Gravity Forms.

  4. I to use gravity forms within facebook application/tab iframes.

    Truly immense plugin.

Tho it would be really cool if gravity forms developed an addon which has features like Post to wall authentication, and... hmmm I can't think of much else, but would be good to pre populate the name field with Facebook name, and just capture the facebook user url.

    :-)

Thanks Jeff, it is something still on our development list, but it hasn't received any active development yet.
