Fatal error when Gravity Forms User Registration Add-On 1.3 is used w/ WP 3.3.1

  1. Hi there,

We have attempted to install Gravity Forms User Registration Add-On 1.3 with WordPress 3.3.1, however, the Dashboard is no longer available and instead the following error message is returned.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/okeydokc/public_html/okeydok/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 1122

Upon deleting Gravity Forms User Registration Add-On 1.3, the Dashboard functions correctly.

  2. Sounds like it could be a PHP memory issue, you could try to increase the memory limit:

I did this and it did not fix the problem. I'm still getting the Fatal Error message AND when I click "(show)" it does not do anything. Please help.

  4. Saskia, please let us know what version of WordPress, Gravity Forms and the User Registration add-on you are using. Please also let us know exactly what happens and when. Please provide exact error messages if any are displayed (like this Fatal Error - what is it?), or see if your host has error logs you can access. Thank you.

Hmmm...it's working today! I increased the memory in the php.ini file last night. It didn't work last night, but maybe it doesn't take effect immediately. Perhaps this is what fixed it! Thanks for the help.
