File Upload - files are not deleted from folder when uploading new/deleting

Hello,

I'm using User Registration Add-on (URA) for Registering and Updating an account.
I have the recommended setup: 1 form for register and 1 form for update with corresponding URA feeds.

I've got a File Upload field that's associated with user custom metadata. Whenever a file is uploaded its path is stored in user custom metadata.

I've noticed that whenever I upload a new file or just delete an existing one and save - the DB gets updated - the custom metadata field gets updated/deleted accordingly. However, in both cases the physical files are never deleted from the GF upload folder, which can grow very fast full of not needed anymore files.

That sounds like a bug. Can it be looked into please? Also, meanwhile, is there a solution to implement, so the files are deleted from the upload folder?

I would hugely appreciate any help.
