Hi, I was wondering if Gravity Forms can have a text area with a rich text editor, such as, the TinyMCE or an editor that one can format fonts, change the size of fonts etc?

  2. It's not a built in feature., but you can integrate TinyMCE or other WYSIWYG editor if you like. I'm not sure what information you are collecting and how you want to use that formatted text, but you can integrate an editor like that into your Gravity Form. It is like adding that editor to any other WordPress page.

There is a 3rd party add-on available, which we did not create. I'm not sure if it's compatible with the latest WordPress and Gravity Forms: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-wysiwyg/

  3. Does the new version of gravity forms (1.7) support rich text editing? that 3rd part plugin does not work and I would like the option to make a form on my site so people can submit their guest posts that way.

No, we have not yet added a WYSIWYG editor to our latest release. The only other way would be to manually integrate one using JQuery and some custom coding.
