Forms not Appearing on Front End

  1. I am trying to set up a user registration form. The form does not show up when I am on the new user registration page.

I tried to embed a test form in a test page and nothing showed up there either.

I am new to gravity forms.

I read in another post that this could be a java script error. I don't know how to investigate that. I don't know much of anything about code. If this is the problem I would appreciate some direction in how to find the error and fix it.

    Thanks for any help.

  2. Erik, a good first step to troubleshoot would be to check for theme/plugin conflicts by following the instructions here:

Let me know what you come up with.

  3. I forgot to add that I have tried activating twenty eleven and disabling all my plugins.

    Thanks again for any help.

  4. Do you have a link to a page where you tried placing a form?

  6. How are you placing the form on the page. I don't see any reference to our form code at all in your source code of that page. Are you using one of these methods:

  7. You're right. There was nothing there. The form didn't come up when I previewed the page and then I neglected to update it. Sorry to lead you astray on that.

I still have a problem with the New User Registration page though. As far as I can tell the form that I created for that isn't showing up when I try to go through the new user registration process. The fields that I added to that form are not present when I try to register.

I set up mail chimp and I registered for my site in an attempt to see if the email I used to register would show up on my mail chimp list but it does not. I believe that I have set up mail chimp properly.

My assumption here is that the reason the email isn't ending up on the mail chimp list is because when i register for my site, the form that I am filling out is not a gravity form. I'm pretty sure it's just the standard wordpress sign up form. I added a first and last name field to the registration form in gravity forms and that doesn't appear when i register for my site.

I followed these directions when I set up my registration form.

There should be a first and last name field on my registration page.

    Thanks again for your help.

  8. Our user registration process replaces the need for the WordPress sign up form. When you fill out the form you have tied to the User Registration feed does it create a user? You need to place that user registration form on a page in your site. Then in the "User Registration" link on the "Settings" page you can have that page be the default registration page. 9. Yep, that makes sense. Thank you for spending the time to look into this for me.
