As it was requested in other threads, I am really interested in having the option of sending the newly created invoice by email and have the possibility to create recurring invoice.
Is this on the cards?

Yes, we do plan on revisiting the FreshBooks Add-On and adding new features. This is one of the features we would like to add but it will be dependent on the capabilities of the FreshBooks API. I'm pretty sure it supports it now, it did not when we originally created the Add-On. I don't have a timetable for you right now, we are working on Gravity Forms v1.6 and several other new Add-Ons. But it is on our to do list.
