Front end editing of user profile

I've recently purchased GF and on the whole it's really good.

There's one thing that has come up for a project that is essential and that is being able to front end edit a user profile.

I.e Someone registers on the site, log's in and finds they want to change their website all via the front end.

So I need to be able to embed a form on a page that displays all / or some fields that are both standard user profile fields and custom one's. It's very often that the standard wordpress user profile page needs customising.

  2. This is currently possible with a bit of work. See this writeup:

However, we'll leave it here as a feature request. Thank you.

The link doesn't include updating custom info that's not on the standard wordpress profile, would this be an addition to should it get made?

From all the searching I've found a good amount of people wanting this.

Is it even under consideration to be built in?
