GF collecting data --> not transmitting to Aweber

  1. The web site : http://www.bakeonaustin.com

GF is collecting the data. I have set the Aweber authorization code. The data is not being transmitted to Aweber. I only have one form. I checked on Aweber, and none of the email addresses have been inserted into the list.

I have the Opt-in Condition checkbox selected, with "Export to Aweber if" Email is .... but I do not know what to enter into the conditional box.

    Any help is most welcome.

    Take care,

    cap

  2. Oops : P.S. You can see the form at : http://bakeonaustin.com/custom-order/

The form is part of the page sidebar. I am using Wordpress, Genesis, the Modern-Portfolio theme, and GF.

    Kind thanks,

  3. The issue is how you have your feed set up with the opt-in condition. Uncheck that and you will probably find that the subscribers are added to Aweber.

That condition is designed to be used by asking a question on your form "Would you like to be added to our mailing list?" with a checkbox, and if checked, THEN you subscribe them to Aweber. In that case, you would use the opt-in condition and would use this field to send users to Aweber. That is useful in long forms where you collect a bunch of information, and want to give them the option to subscribe as well. You're not doing that, since this is a simple form where they are implicitly subscribing.

Uncheck the opt-in condition and save the feed, then test again. Use a new email address from any you've ever used with Aweber before.

  4. I took your suggestion, unchecked the opt-in condition, saved the feed, and tested again.

No luck. I even waited thirty minutes to see if there was a time delay between the site and aweber, but alas, no luck.

Any other suggestions? Any and all help is welcome.
