Grandfathered Lifetime Unlimited for Existing Lifetime Customers

  1. I own an "Lifetime" (single) license that includes "Unlimited" support and upgrades. If I upgrade to Business or Developers license, does it grandfather my "Lifetime Unlimited" support and upgrades?

If not, why should I be encouraged to upgrade? Wouldn't upgrading void my "Lifetime Unlimited" support and upgrades? And no, I'm sorry but the "add-on" features aren't a reason to be encouraged. Continued unlimited lifetime updates and support, however, is.

  2. I'm guessing it will void my lifetime unlimited, which means upgrading (for my single license, anyway) isn't a smart move.

Might as well buy another license (so my single license retains lifetime status).

Can I have two licenses per my account?

  3. It does not grandfather in the lifetime updates, etc.

Prior to the change in terms of service we let users know about it months in advance to give them an opportunity to upgrade at a discount so they could upgrade while they could do so and still retain lifetime support and updates.

You can have two licenses, so if you wanted to purchase a separate one you can.
