Gravity Forms is just so badass

  1. Hey guys,

I have nothing to say in here but express my appreciation for your work. Gravity Forms is turning into an absolutely INCREDIBLE piece of software and the opportunities that I now have thanks to you guys are just awesome. I just realized I can even use your software to implement payment solutions. I spent AGES doing something like that about a year ago. Now I can do it in minutes. Ha ha!

So keep up the good work, guys. I'm one happy customer.

I second that, GF is some serious power tool for front end user interaction and postings, love it! And i'm not even a web programmer yet it gets the job done in a clean and effective way, cant wait for the additional features to be released in regards to the User Registration add-on :)

Sigarette, I checked out your site, noticed that you allow front end users to post reviews, question is: Are you manually recreating the reentering the reviews on the backend then publishing it or is the input of the user being published automatically to the site once approved?

By the way, take a look at the MyReviewPlugin for user and Editors based rating, I'm using it on some review sites and its a great plugin (no I'm not affiliated, just promoting a good product such as GF)

  4. With regards to your question, FanaticWeb, the form submissions automatically become draft posts in Wordpress that I just check before they go live. I think it's possible to put them live right away, though I don't want to do that.

Thanks for the tip. I'm currently using GD Star Rating or whatever it's called. What makes MyReviewPlugin better?

Hey Eivind, GD star rating stopped working for me when it came to custom post based themes, the automated insertion of the Multi-Reviews based on custom categories was obsolete and I was looking for something that gave me more flexibility in the setup and embedding of the ratings, including the User comments' section. I guess it does the job pending on the theme you're using and the extensiveness of the ratings.

I was aware of the auto Pending vs Publish status, I was wondering if the content that users submitted filling out the form was automatically transmitted on to the blog or if you had to manually copy paste the content. Mind you, I'm getting more comfortable with GF lately and its been great, still hoping for a couple of updates here and there but I'm sure they'll come along.

    Cheers!
