Gravity Forms v1.5 RC4 - Forms import problem

I installed Gravity Forms v1.5 RC4 on a local MAMP and built a form with multiple pages. The form works. I exported the form and imported it on an online installation (also with Gravity Forms v1.5 RC4). On the online installation the form hangs when clicking the Next button on the first page. I assume, that there is probably a problem within the form export/import functionality.

One more thing: As I need a German version, what is the recomended way to update the language files?

    Regards

    Richard

When submitting an other form built in RC4 on the online installation I am sent back to the login screen of WP.

Maybe the problem is not in the import/export form functionality but in the redirecting:

  3. Try downloading and installing the latest development release on the Downloads page. It is 1.5 RC4.2 and it fixes a few issues, including an issue with form previews redirecting you to the WordPress login page. This was a server specific issue that impacted some users and had to do with how Gravity Forms was getting the server URL variable. Try the latest development release and then test your forms and see if the issue still persists.

The issue is now solved. Thank you Carl.

One more thing: As I need a German version and not all text are allready localized, what is the recomended way to update the language files? Do you plan to deploy complete german language files?

  5. We don't currently have a German translation file that has been supplied to us by any users. So you would have to localize the POT file yourself using a tool like POEdit and generating a German translation file.

Here is a tutorial on how to do so:

Official translation files is a feature we would like to provide later this year to some of the more popular languages. Professional translations get quite expensive with the number of strings that exist in Gravity Forms so we are evaluating our options as far as that goes.
