Have check box that puts emails into two different lists

  1. Hi,

I want to have one form that gives two options for newsletter lists.

So when the person fills out the subscription form they can choose which list to subscribe to.

How would I set this up?

    Thanks!

  3. Are you kidding me. I posted this 6 days ago. I pay plenty of money for your plugin and you can't even answer your support. You guys SUCK!

  4. Sorry, every now and then we miss out on a forum question as we get a lot. However - since you do pay so much money - you do have access to the priority support form which takes precedence over the forum. So you can always use that for a faster response and guarantee your question doesn't get missed. It's that link over there to the right that says "Priority Support Form".

So, with that said - you can setup multiple mail chimp feeds in combination with a check box field. So your checkbox fields can list the options and then in each appropriate mailchimp feed you can set the condition to go to mailchimp if that option is selected and map the feed to the appropriate list.

  5. So I'm a little confused. I have the two check boxes. What do I do now? Can you give me a step by step? I know it's a pain but I'm sure others have this same issue. I do have the Mailchimp Add-on enabled.

    Thanks!

  6. Seth,

So you have this on a form: Step One

Then you will have the multiple feeds, in my example I have 3: Step Two

Then in each feed you enable the list and conditions appropriately per feed: Step Three

  9. Here's a question. So each option needs to be it's own form? What does each form look like? Like the main form or different?

    LMK! Thanks!

  10. I have it all in one form and then having it go to Mailchimp groups. But it doesn't seem to be working. Haha.

  12. Each option needs to be it's own feed. One form, multiple feeds, tied to the appropriate lists. We do support groups in the feed as well, if they are available on the list. So you can use multiple feeds with the groups as well.

  13. From the screenshot it looks like you have it setup correctly. When I did my multiple feeds test it took about 20 mins total time for each of my lists to be updated with the email. Not sure why there was a delay, but one showed up instantly and then the other followed after.

  15. Hey Rob,

So my client wants me to have the two check boxes going to two different lists not groups. I wasn't quite sure how you set it up for them to go to separate lists. I need it to be one form that goes to two lists. In your screenshots you showed different forms, one per list, but I need people to go to one list and have two choices.

    Am I missing something?

  16. I got it now. Feeds being not separate form but separate feed in the mailchimp add-on

As you can see from our settings, we only allow a one to one pairing of form to list. So you can't have one form add people to two separate lists, only groups.
