How much to renew support access?

    All 3 licenses have 1 year of support access. What happens when that 1 year is up? How much does it cost to renew access? What if you don't renew when your access runs out and then later need support ... how much does it cost to renew at that point?

    License renewals will be 25-50% off the standard pricing depending on the license. We will launch a renewal system at the beginning of next year when the first renewals begin to approach their renewal date. You will be able to renew from the support site and maintain your existing license key.

    If it isn't renewed we can still use the plugin, we just don't get access to the forums? Or does access to the plugin go away as well?

    The plugin will continue to work, you just won't receive access to support or updates.

    Carl, could you say a little more about support renewals? For a developer license, are you saying that it could cost as much as $100 every year, even if all that's needed are upgrades?

    Since it's conceivable that Gravity Forms wouldn't support prior versions of WordPress, and so upgrades would be necessary, could you make an announcement about those renewal fees soon?

    In some cases, I work with clients who develop budgets 2-3 years out, and renewals for every premium plugin we use add up.

    License renewals for the Developer License will be 50% off the full price and extend your support access and update access for an additional year with each renewal. We will be implementing a way to renew your license right from the support site within the first quarter of 2011 when renewals begin to become necessary.
