How to switch off default Wordpress new user notification email

I've managed to set up the user and admin email notifications for the User Registration Form and all is good, except both user and admin still receive the default Wordpress emails.

I can ignore the duplicate admin email, but I don't want users to be sent two emails. The Wordpress email also contains the password, and I'd rather not send this. The Gravity Form notifications are just what I want, how do I disable the others?

This feels like I'm missing something very obvious as everyone must have this issue, so I've spent about an hour searching, but haven't found anything that explains exactly what to do. I hope I haven't missed some documentation.

(It would be very nice if there was an option on the GF notifications to disable the WP emails.)

Thank you very much. I'd found these the second of these two (eliminate wasn't a word that occurred to me when I was searching!) but thought there had to be a better way, particularly as this hadn't been updated for so long.

hi is there any way this could be added into Gravity forms as I too have this issue - Since Gravity does it so well it would be great to have a checkbox to disable the default WP one if Gravity notify is being used?
