HTML 5 placeholders

  1. Seeing as gravity forms is a forms plugin and one of the most useful attributes to appear from html 5 for inputs is the placeholder attribute. I would very much like this feature to be included.

Yes i know theres plugins that add this, but at the end of the day i think this should be in core.

  4. There is no ETA for this feature being added to Gravity Forms. It is currently available by using a 3rd party plugin like one of these:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-auto-placeholders/

Or there are other solutions posted on the Internet which explain how to do it with jQuery or JavaScript.

No ETA on including it in Gravity Forms at this time.
