I need a contact/submssion form that does the following

  1. I need this kind of contact/submission form:

    A few fields to fill
A place to write a description
    A place for keywords
The ability to upload up to three photos
Photos that are too large are automatically resized
A question must be answered before submitting

    PLUS:

Whatever is submitted is automatically posted to a Wordpress/thesis blog
The blog recognizes the keywords so that the submissions are searchable by keywords.

Which of these things can Gravity do?

  2. Gravity Forms doesn't resize photos. If you are creating a form that is going to create a WordPress post, the photos using the Post Image field are automatically sized by WordPress and added to your Media Library.

So it does automatically size the images like it would if you uploaded images when creating a post. But that is only the Post Image field that does that. The standard File Upload field does no file manipulation, it simply uploads the file.

So as far as WordPress post creation goes, Gravity Forms should do what you want to do. You would make use of the Post Fields (Post Title, Post Body, Post Category, Post Tags, etc.) to build a form that captures the data you want and creates a Post from it.

  3. That sounds great! Can you tell me how the priority support you get with the developer's license differs from the business-level support?

  4. @Angelique The Developer License Priority Support is done via email and is given priority as far as monitoring by support staff. Standard Support is done strictly via the Support Forum.

The Developer License also has access to ALL current and future Add-Ons. The Business License only has access to BASIC Add-Ons which currently are the Campaign Monitor Add-On and MailChimp Add-On. Future basic add-ons will include Constant Contact and AWeber, primarily email marketing related. Advanced Add-Ons such as PayPal, User Registration and future advanced add-ons are Developer License only.

  5. I am also trying to have images be resized for consistency -- I changed the form from standard "file upload" to "post image" field but now the image doesn't show up.
