Hi there I have bought a real estate theme that includes GF plugin, I needed to implement a google map (such as the mappress or comprehensive google maps) plugin so that when users submits posts with GF forms, the google map will automatically show a map with position of interest based on the address the users entered. How can this be done I have searched but the topics here are closed to members with license key, dose this mean I have to buy this plugin again just so I can read the others solutions? Can you please help me out here? Thank you so much in advance

  2. Where did you want to show the map? On the page where they are entering information (the form) or on some page after the information is submitted to you? How are you using your form and what happens with the data after it's submitted?

    Thank you Chris for replying
Users who registered can post their ads from frontend by GF form, ie title, description, address, location and up loading photos etc.

When they submit the post will be published for the public, it is in the single post view I wish to implement the google map as part of the post content (with the point of interes/marker = the address the user entered via GF form frontend).

The Form is set-up as a page, when forms submitted it will be published as posts.

  4. OK, got it. The visitor can post an ad (which is a WordPress post) which includes an address, and with that, you want to be able to embed a Google map in the submitted post. Is that correct?

    I used this plugin:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-map-shortcode/

    And I created this form:
    http://gravity.chrishajer.com/embed-a-google-map/

If you submit that form, you will see a post created with an embedded Google map based on the address you submitted.

I documented the whole process here previously: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/google-map-on-preview-and-singlephp#post-71643

Thank you so much Chris for helping me out.
The link for the whole process is restricted to members only, is there anyway I can see it or can you please extract the whole process here?
    Thanks again

  6. You will be able to view that topic with a valid license. The post explains it all and shows that it is certainly possible to do.
