International Adress field

  1. I would like to be able to translate all the content of the Address field. Titles like “Street Address” , “Address Line 2”, “City State/Province/Region” ….

I cannot use the address fields because of that:-(

  2. These are displayed based on your PO file. So if you load a PO file for your language they will display in that language.

You can also change the labels via a filter and some custom code you add to your theme function.php file.

    See this thread for details:

  3. I only use this GREAT plugin for about a month now. I am glad to hear that it is so easy to translate. I almost only use StudioPress themes and I am use to translate the pot files included. Now I just translated the part with the Address field only, saved and uploaded, on this German site: http://hardthaus.de/kontakt/gutschein/
Please choose the first field: Überweisung. Sie erhalten Ihren Gutschein durch Postversand (Versandkosten 1,45 Euro).; to see the address field, but without translation:-(

What did I do wrong? Named my file like always de_DE.mo, placed it in plugins/gravityforms/languages/de_DE.mo, my whole site is German, front and backend!

  4. We will look into it. For now you can easily translate the files via the method I referenced above in the link to the other thread. There is a filter you can use to change the text for the sublabels.

  5. Thanks it works fine here:http://hardthaus.de/kontakt/gutschein/
Another site (coming soon) I have both Danish and English contact forms, how can I handle that?

  6. You would have to use PHP and the filter I referenced above to change the labels on your Danish forms using custom code you would add to your functions.php file. You would use that code and only change the filters if the form id is one of your danish forms.
