Is it possible to have TWO Authorize.net forms linked to TWO separate accounts?

  1. Here is my question...

I've got Gravity Forms installed on a clients website. I have TWO separate donation forms on their website, each one is linked to a separate Authorize.net account (meaning they both have different Login APIs and Transaction Keys).

To do this I setup both forms first off (and put them on different pages). I then went to Forms > Settings > Authorize.net. I then entered the API Login ID and Transaction Key for one of the Authroize.net accounts.

I then Forms > Authorize.net > Donation Form (the name of one of my forms) and then I checked the box next to API Settings to 'override default settings'. I then entered the API Login ID and Transaction Key for the OTHER Authorize.net account and pressed update.

So, be theory now I have one form that does NOT override the default API settings (and uses the default Authorize.net info. I also have another form which DOES override the default API settings and uses another Authorize.net account.

The problem I'm having is that BOTH of the forms are submitting to the same Authorize.net account somehow. When I login to Authorize.net (I check both accounts) it's all only going into one account, almost as if that one form is ignoring the 'override default settings' option.

Can anyone help me with this?

  2. Which account are the donations going to: the one which was set on the Settings page or the one you are using as an override for one of the pages?

Can you try overriding both to see if they will submit to separate Authorize.net accounts?

  3. Chris,

The donations are both ending up in the Authorize.net account that is configured on the Settings page.

I will try to override them both and see what happens, I'll post back here as soon as I find the result.

  4. I've not heard of anyone doing exactly this, so I'd be interested to hear your result. I have a logging add-on as well, which may help with this. If you want it, please send an email to chris@rocketgenius.com and include a link to this topic.
