    Can a license that is purchased be used on the same domain and subdomain?

    A "site" is a WordPress install and domain name. Multi-Site and MU create multiple installs in the database each requiring you to enter the license key multiple times, these are separate sites. If you plan on using it on multiple WordPress sites you will want a multi- or developer license.
