Mail Chimp API Button Red

  1. Hello,

when I entered my newly generated API Key of MailChimp (free) to two different blogs a red (stop) icon appears.
If I add a MailChimp feed i get ERR 110.

    Any quick ideas?
    Gracias.

Are you using the latest Gravity Forms and WordPress? Do you have any other plugins that could be conflicting with Mailchimp? Is your hosting environment able to contact the Mailchimp server (if you are testing your site on your local machine, it might not work)?

  3. David, thanks for you quick response.

    Yes.
    No.
It's all online but I guess it's something about the hosting.
I tested it on two different wordpress installations with different plugins but using the same hosting.

Double check with your host that you have cURL installed on the server and that your server can ping Mailchimp's website.

  5. My hosting provider says the ping works.
    cURL ist activated.
I tested the same thing with campaign and it works.
But it still MailChimp API doesn't work on two seperated installations.

I'm also having the same problem. I tried the form on 2 different domains with 2 different hosts and I'm not having any luck.

Got this fixed. It turned out to be a problem with mapping the fields.

Optimiertes - can you contact your host to make sure they aren't blocking mail chimp connections? We would need to figure out what is special about your hosting. Can you look at the php error log to see if anything is mentioned? It might also be worth contacting mail chimp to make sure your account is fine to connect to their api.
