MailChimp Autoresponder working with Gravity Forms

  1. Has anyone been able to get a MailChimp Autoresponder to work with your Gravity Form that DOESN'T require a double opt-in?

Right now, I have some forms that request specific information that I'd like to push out via a few autoresponders; BUT I have the double opt-in for these forms turned off because they are confusing and people don't do it (and then don't get the info they want).

My understanding is that by having the double opt-in turned off MailChimp considers it a manual import and they don't support autoresponders for manual imports.

Wufoo has gotten around the problem like this:

Anyone here able to do this with MailChimp?

  2. We'll take a look and see how we can incorporate a similar feature into the MailChimp Add-On, most likely as an option on the MailChimp settings for the form itself rather than having to add a field to your form.

  4. Hi Carl, did this last update address this issue? I haven't tested; just wanted to see.

  5. No this hasn't been addressed. The latest MailChimp release was just a maintenance release updating the MailChimp API Wrapper to the latest version. It wasn't a feature release. But this is a feature we would like to add once we can devote some time to enhancing the features of the MailChimp Add-On.
