After installing the Mailchimp add-on, I created a new form (and signed up for mail chimp, creating a new list there) and when I attempt to associate a form with mail chimp it just sit's and spins.
    Yep, just sits and spins.

  5. I'm struggling to. I've done it before and remember it being easy. Now I go under the mailchimp tab and I don't see a button to "add a new form for mailchimp". It is from the mailchimp tab that we make the connection, right? Or am I missing something.

NVM ... I found it! small box right next to label mailchimp. :)

  7. I'm pretty sure the connection between GF and MC is not working. I've tried many variations and many tests and nothing. If it's true I imagine that the GF folks are trying to fix it and once they know how will release an update. I haven't had any new signups since March 4 from any of the five forms I have on my site. And I've asked people I know to try to sign up.

  8. I am having the same issue. When attempting to add a new MailChimp feed I can choose the MailChimp list with problems, but after selecting a Gravity Form it just sits and spins - looks like the javascript is never completing.

    I'm using:
    Gravity Forms Version 1.6.3.2.1
Gravity Forms MailChimp Add-On Version 1.6.3

  9. These issues are all unrelated and illustrate why you should ALWAYS POST YOUR OWN SUPPORT FORUM REQUEST.

Please do not piggyback on another users support forum request because you may be experiencing an issue with the MailChimp Add-On, but it is likely NOT the same issue as the original poster and it makes it difficult to close a support forum topic when multiple people are posting on it.

This is the reason why we will be locking down the support forum so that only the original poster and admin/moderators can reply to a thread. Users will not be able to reply to other users threads because it causes too much confusion and makes it difficult to provide adequate support.

2 of the users above already solved their problem which goes to show that user issues are not all the same, despite the fact they may appear to be.

There are currently no known issues with Gravity Forms and the MailChimp Add-On not working or not communicating with the MailChimp API.

If you are experiencing an issue it's most likely going to be a site specific issue related to your specific site setup. A wide range of things can cause issues... everything from MailChimp account issues to PHP memory issues and theme/plugin conflicts.

If you are one of the users on this thread, I can assist you but we will need to look at your site directly because we are unable to replicate any issues with the MailChimp Add-On locally.

Email me the following information to my carl@rocketgenius.com email address:

    - Explain the exact issue you are experiencing in detail and include a link to this forum post.
    - URL of the site experiencing the issue
    - WordPress admin login to the site experiencing the issue

We can then take a look and see what is going on with your site.

If you are NOT one of the users above, submit a new support request. Please do not email me directly.
