ManageWP.com Integration

  1. Hi - I'm using ManageWP service to keep about 35 sites up-to-date. I'd love a way to update the plugin through managewp.com. It does show that an updates available, but won't update GF.

Have you contacted ManageWP about this issue? What happens when you try to update?

  3. Yes, here's their response:

Premium update is just a notification that a plugin is a premium plugin.

As for not updating the plugin, most probable reason for not updating is due to the nature of premium plugins. Their creators need to set updating to be allowed via third party in this case ManageWP. So when the new version comes out they just need to allow ManageWP to be able to update.

We already contacted Gravity Forms and trying to work with them on solving this issue.

Unfortunately we do not have any ETA when this will be fixed.

Here are the details from Carl, one of our founders - Nothing has changed as far as the ManageWP code within Gravity Forms. It was supplied to us by the team at ManageWP and it has not changed since it was initially implemented quite a long time ago. They worked with us on the integration. Most premium plugins don't have ManageWP support but they provided us with code to make it compatible. So anything that isn't working is going to be related to changes they have made and they would have to supply us with updated integration code in order to maintain compatibility.

  7. A further update from Carl:

The bug was found to be on the ManageWP side. They have fixed it internally and it should be in the next ManageWP worker plugin update.
