Mapping (street) addresses to MailChimp

  1. In addition to email addresses, our MailChimp list uses postal addresses. When I try to add the MailChimp feed, it gives me a single field for postal address. I have the option to map it to Gravity Forms "Address (Full)".

Even though the feed only lists address as a single item, if I login through MailChimp it breaks the address up into separate fields, just like the Gravity Forms address (street, street 2, city, state, etc..). My question is, if I map "Address (full)" to MailChimps single "address" field in the feed, will it get broken out into the appropriate fields on the MailChimp side? Meaning, if I login to MailChimp and view a record of a person who just signed up via the Gravity Form, I won't see the entire address crammed into one field, correct?

  2. I never heard back on this so I created a dummy form and tested it. For anyone else who may be interested, it worked as expected... "address (full)" correctly mapped to MailChimps single "address" pull-down within the addon's feed.

  3. Sorry, your post got overlooked with a bunch that came after it.

Yes. Full Address mapped to the MailChimp Address field breaks it out into multiple fields. That is why Full Address is there because MailChimp wants it passed to them as a single array rather than as individual values.
