Mass Checkboxes displayed by line break separation within notification emails

  1. Hello,
I have a question about the checkbox value items that I receive in my mail after someone fills in the form. I'm currently using Contact Form 7.

If someone has checked these three boxes in the form:
    CHECKBOX1
    CHECKBOX2
    CHECKBOX3

Then in my mail they appear as:
    CHECKBOX1, CHECKBOX2, CHECKBOX3

However I would like to change the comma separation into line breaks.
Plus add a unique value for each checkbox so I can add in a URL:
Should be displayed in the email like this:
    CHECKBOX1 – http://www.checkbox1.com
    CHECKBOX2 – http://www.checkbox2.com
    CHECKBOX3 – http://www.checkbox3.com

Can Gravity Forms display my emails they way I want them?

    Need Urgent Reply.

    Thanks!

  2. Gravity Forms can be customized to send email in whatever format you like. There is a built in HTML template for the email notification now, you can specify text only for the confirmation, or you can craft your own completely custom email notification.

The default HTML notification lists check box values on separate lines, as list items. But you can change that to whatever you want by creating your own custom notification email.

I'm not exactly sure where the URLs will come from, so I can't help you with that.

  3. Hi, sorry to revive this thread, but where in the file structure is the file that handles the html template? I just need to remove the comma not build the entire html.

    Thanks!

  4. It sounds like you are already a Gravity Forms user? If so, please create a new topic in the regular support forums rather than pre-purchase. Thank you. We won't be able to tell you where to modify the core plugin files though. You would have to look through the code to determine what changes to make. Changes to the core plugin files are not supported.
