Match entry based on username

    Hello,
    I'm trying to pre-populate a form (edit form) based on entry submitted from Registration Form.

    What I need is to get the entry based on username associated to this entry and not the user ID (created_by).

    Can someone help with this as I cant find a way around?

    Another solution will be User Registration Add-On fixed so not only default user fields can be updated but custom created too! (this is the perfect solution actually)

    I logged in and I took a look at your form here http://press.octoberblue.com/update-your-profile

    When I first loaded that page, some information is pre-filled (I was Donald Lewis MD, and the town, state, zip and phone were pre-filled.) How are you currently filling that information, and is that information correct for the user I was logged in as?

    What is the ultimate goal for you here?

    However it doesnt work as some entries is created by admin so created_by = 1 on multiple entries. The Donald Lewis MD is not the correct one. Im getting completely different userinfo even if im logged as admin too.

    Goal here is to preload the form with currently logged in user details based on username and not user ID. And then to edit this entry.
