Me too. (Styles)

  1. Greetings -

Brand new here - my first post.

And speaking of firsts, I just completed my first (test) form. Unfortunately, I found myself feeling the same as Gavin (http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/wheres-the-styles), except that I felt foolish as well as disappointed - and doubly so I suppose.

Where as Gavin spent "nearly $100" before discovering the styling limitations, I purchased the Developer license - not because I'm much of a developer (which probably explains my disappointment), but because I needed a Paypal subscription solution.

The reason I feel a bit foolish is because, as you told Gavin, I should have thoroughly investigated the capabilities of the software before relying on my own interpretation of your verbiage, "If the defaults aren't your cup of tea, we've also made it really easy to customize the look and feel of your form."

All that to say this: any ability to manipulate styles independently from the theme (that is, within Gravity Forms itself) would be most welcomed. So I would hereby add my suggestion/request to those of similar ilk before me, in hope that if there is a tipping point for style functions to be added, I will help that occur as soon as possible (hopefully before my year of updates expires).

And one other (unrelated) thing... there was no README or license file in the distribution I received (downloaded). Is this your practice or did I maybe get an incomplete distribution?

    Regards -
