Microsoft Dynamics CRM

  1. I realize this topic was created and closed in the Plugins area and looks like there is no immediate plan for a plugin to support GF.

But I am wondering if anyone has any experience or capability to integrate GF with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. A client of mine loves the forms we've created but is frustrated that the forms don't integrate with CRM. Frankly, I don't even know what to tell the CRM "MS' people. They just want to grab the output from the form at point of submission to pull into the CRM.

    So, anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

    Thanks
    Tom

  2. There isn't currently a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Add-On and i'm not aware of any 3rd party developers who have done this customization.

Integration with any service is possible via customization. There are hooks available to allow you to integrate with any service but you would have to write the PHP to integrate with that services API.

  3. Carl...

Is there someone I could contact I could hire to write the PHP integration? Do you guys do that? Do you have a contact who does?

I don't have the knowledge to do that myself.

    Please advise.

I would just like to keep this topic warm. Microsoft Dynamics is a fabulous CRM, very customizable and much easier to use than Salesforce and just as capable in my opinion. MS Dynamics continues to grow in numbers of users and is worthy of an add-on I think. :)

I wanted to place more details about MS Dynamics CRM here for consideration.

Here is a plugin that places a form in Wordpress that accepts limited information and places the information right in to CRM:

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/wp2dynamics2011/

So, with this framework, I hope to speed this along, this integration between Gravity and Dynamics CRM is something I really need, and as Tom above stated, I would be willing to contribute financially to its creation.

    Hi Jeff,

Did you have any success with the plugin?

I am urgently looking for a way to integrate Microsoft CRM with Wordpress...

Not yet. I decided that the plugin I mentioned was far too limited, I am going to use html from CRM.

I very much want MSCRM-Gravity integration also, and am very glad to see your interest as well. Anyone else? Gravity? :)

    Thank Jeff!

Just wondering, have you heard of any other solutions to integrate Wordpress with CRM (outside of Gravity Forms)?

I need to build something asap...

No, sure haven't, and have looked quite a bit. I am thinking that the html method built in to CRM might work very well, I have not tried it yet but will soon.

But the ideal solution would be Gravity - Microsoft CRM integration. Anyone? Anyone? :) .

Thanks eeadmin for your willingness to develop this integration.

I am open to considering this approach for sure. I also hope that at some point integration will reside at Gravity for future support and continued function as Gravity changes to adjust to Wordpress.

Carl, do you see a time via any approach that an integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is possible?

I have not found a single solution. Frustrating, I wish Gravity would step up here. I can't help but think that a Gravity supported integration would help bring in more sales.

I hope every 3 months is not too often to inquire. Anything new on the integration of Gravity Forms and Microsoft Dynamics CRM? From either a 3rd party developer perspective or from Gravity Forms?

    Thanks Chris, I keep wishing.

Perhaps someone with more programming knowledge will happen along that can do this third party. I hope you will leave the conversation open to make it easier to jump in.

I also hope Gravity considers it soon.

    Thanks again.

  20. I would kill someone to get this up and running. Has anyone had any success getting any information from Gravity into Dynamics? Even if through a third party program?

  22. I'm considering developing a plugin that will do this. I'm wondering what you all think about some of these concepts:

    - Are you comfortable with WordPress having direct access to your Dynamics CRM SQL server? To any interested parties: do you know what SQL replication is, and, if so, does that appeal to you more than a direct connection from WP to MS SQL? (in order to address reliability and/or security concerns)

    - Should the data flow in both directions, both from Gravity Forms to Dynamics CRM, as well as from Dynamics CRM to WordPress? (ex. 'View my profile' and 'Edit my contact information')
