I'm interested in purchasing Gravity Forms but I need multi-file upload support from a single field. Does Gravity forms do this?

  2. Gravity Forms does not offer this capability. Related (although you have to have a valid support license to view this resource): http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/adding-multiple-file-uploads-support

    From the link Chris posted:

In order to do what you describe right now it would require a fairly advanced customization. You would have to create your own custom form field in Gravity Forms.

The best resource I can point you to as far as how to create a new custom form field in Gravity Forms is going to be this tutorial:

  5. Hey Chris, the link you provided say's that you were planning on adding a multi-file upload option in the future. Is this slated for release soon?

We no longer comment or speculate on features in future versions as our release are controlled in large part by external factors. Things that our developers wanted in the 1.7 release didn't happen because of needing more time to bug test, and changes for WordPress 3.6. This happens in development sometimes, so we don't want to set expectations that we can't meet.

  7. Thanks David, I understand.

it's still nice to know what features are on the slate - it'd be horrible to spend hours dev'ing a feature which was then released a few weeks later!

We work hard to avoid features that third parties are working on, so if someone came out with an add-on or was planning to do it and informed us, we would focus our energies elsewhere. We have hundreds of thousands of people pulling us in different directions, plus we have our own vision of what Gravity Forms should evolve into.
