Any help from the GF team regarding multi-step forms? That would be amazing.

Multi-step or "wizard" type forms are still coming. We've had plenty of discussions on how to best implement them. I'm not sure what release will have them, but it won't be too far down the road.
Here's a video of a really early test (no audio) but you can get the general idea.
The multi-step form in the demo or a variation of it would be perfect for my purposes. Any chance you would forward me any additional clues to get something like that working with GF? Or does GF allow me to specify fieldsets so I can hack together my own solution using a jquery plugin that accesses form fieldsets. Thanks.
The demo video was a very early proof of concept and wasn't polished by any means.
Basically what I did there was to replace the section break fields and wrapped the content between them with fieldsets using jQuery and then used the Form to Wizard plugin to generate the paging.
Honestly, like I mentioned, it was an early proof of concept and my code was pretty hacked up and was very specific to that individual form so it's nothing I'd really want to share right now. I'm not sure it would be very helpful anyhow.
There isn't a way to define fieldsets in Gravity Forms currently, but we're working on incorporating "page break" type fields to facilitate building these kind of forms. There are some complex issues regarding validation, conditional logic, etc. that have to be worked out still. Rest assured, multi-page forms inside Gravity Forms are coming as soon as we can them ready.
I'll keep my eye on this post as I'm ready to purchase as soon as this feature is ready. Very cool.
@immortalgamer, you can also subscribe to our mailing list at the bottom of the page on the main site. We'll announce any major releases, news about new functionality, etc.
I'm very interested in multi-step forms as well. We use Wufoo for some projects, and they have a great implementation of this feature, for what it's worth.
+1 ...this will be a much appreciated feature.. thanks!
