New Mailchimp Form Gives Error

  1. I'm trying to add a new mailchimp form and I am getting the following api key error (see screen dump)

I know the API key is okay as I am using a mailchimp widget on teh same key to signup new users and that works fine

  2. What version of the MailChimp Add-On are you using? Is it the latest version? v1.3.2 is the latest. Please check. That is a MailChimp API error and not a Gravity Forms error. Earlier versions of MailChimp Add-On used an old API.

  3. I'm having the same problem and I'm using v1.4 of the MailChimp plugin.. :(

    Any updates on this?

  4. No update on this, the user didn't response with further information. The error they were receiving was a MailChimp error saying the API key was not valid. Is this the same error you are getting?

  5. Basically the API isn't accepted (only ever shows the stop sign) altho I've quadruple checked it and created multiple new ones so the API key IS definitely correct.

However that said, I think it actually has something to do with the fsockopen settings of the server because none of the information acquired form an external source is being loaded: WP Dashboard news, GForms addons page etc...

  6. @markbloomfield That definitely sounds like some sort of server issue then. If things like Dashboard news, Gravity Forms Add-Ons, etc. aren't working then it sounds like your server isn't allowing your site to communicate with remote services/sites. Get in touch with your host, this definitely sounds like a hosting issue.
