Not Adding Users

  1. I don't know what happened, but in the last week or so, my gravity forms stopped adding the users to the posts. I am using the registration add on to give users the ability to register with my client's site when the post. I have done this for numerous client sites and for some reason within the last week or so, gforms stopped adding the user. I just did a test submission and everything is good except the user isn't added into the 'users' section of wp-admin, nor is gforms adding the newly registered user as the author of the post anymore. WHen you look at the form submission, the newly created user is listed in the form as the "username", and it is set to make the "user" the "author" of the post, but the new username isn't added to the wordpress list of users, nor is the new username set as the author.

I have changed nothing recently, however, it is not working. Can someone please help me, I am at a loss.

    Thank you. :)

  2. Are you using the latest version of WordPress, Gravity Forms and the User Registration add-on? I would make sure of that first as bugs are being fixed all the time.

The other thing you can try is to recreate the feed in the user registration add-on, as maybe the field mapping got stuffed some how.

  3. Thanks for your response Chris. I am using the latest version of everything except not using wp 3.3 yet......however this issue has been happening for about two weeks now and 3.3 just came out the other day.

What do you mean by "recreate the feed in the user registration add-on, as maybe the field mapping got stuffed some how."??? How can I accomplish this. I need to fix this asap please. Thank you :)

  4. If everything is up to date except WordPress, but the problem has been there a couple weeks, updating to WP 3.3 is not going to help anything.

What I meant about the 'feed' was to go to the User Registration menu item under Forms and [Add New} - create a new 'feed' here and map the fields to your original registration form. And see if that does anything for you. I've had it happen where I modified a form but not modified the User Registration settings, so it stopped working because the fields were no longer matched up.

  5. I'm having the same issue. Have re-added the feed and the User is still not added. Any resolution?
    Thanks!

  6. Are you using the latest version of WordPress (3.3) Gravity Forms (1.6.2) and the User Registration add-on (1.2.11)?

  7. Yes, just double checked.

  8. @Chris Hajer This is a duplicate request. Marge has already submitted a Priority Support request for this issue and it's been looked at.

@fitpirategirl2 In the future, please only submit a Priority Support request OR a Support Forum request and not both for the same issue. This helps prevents situations where multiple people on our support team are independently working on the same customers issue.

As you already have a Priority Support request for this we will resolve it via Priority Support where you supplied us with the necessary login information to do so.

  9. Sorry about that, Carl. Was just wondering if this issue had been resolved by Vegas Kev.

  10. Found the problem. When I unchecked the Enable Registration Condition box (in the feed ares), Users are registered.

First of all, Happy New Year to GravityForms' team and everyone on here!

I started having the same issue after the latest upgrade (User entries not being pushed to WP's db), I applied FitPirategirl2's workaround and it fixed the issue, I'm running on WP 3.1.3 with the latest GF version.
