Notification after admin edit

  1. I am hoping to use a drop down field to indicate the status of the form (new, edited, final). At each state I would like to send a notification to a different user. I can setup the default new to send, but then when the admin logs in, edits and updates, another notification is not sent. Can this be done?

  2. No, this is not a feature of Gravity Forms. Notifications are only sent when the form is filled out. HOWEVER there is a Notes feature within the Entry Detail area where you can leave a note on an Entry and you can optionally have it email that note to the user who submitted the form. That is the extent of the built in notification capabilities.

  3. Thank you. We will work on a modification that allows this and share the code here when complete.

This would be a helpful feature to enable true routing from one person to the next.

  4. + 1 for this one.

I would like to be able to share notes made on form entries with other users of the site through email, so that they can take appropriate action for following up.
