    Email Notification of posting approval. This is very important feature i think.

    We have had this requested before, however this is a bit complicated. The issue is currently to "Approve" a post you go into your Edit Posts, and then Publish the post. It isn't done in Gravity Forms itself so Gravity Forms does not know that the post has been approved because at that point it is out of the loop.

    However we would like to add the ability to publish the post from the Entry Detail page itself, which would allow Gravity Forms to know the post has been published and to send an email. So this feature will make it in eventually.

    Great news! :) So you mean it is possible to see this in 1.5 stable release or probably some later one? Really exited about this!

    A seperate interface for GF submitted post moderation with some Approve/edit/trash button and email notifications for approved/denied would be great! This would fit my needs for one site I am working on perfectly, where unregistered users mainly submit one directory entry and should be notified if there submission got listed or denied :)

    Hope the other feature I mentioned before will make it in some future release, too: Auto Approve submissions from Users with more then x approved submissions. Would be greate for a site, where registered users post content on a regular base!

    Is there an interim way to send email notification of posting approval in the mean while? Any plugins of which you're aware that could support this, or a code snippet?

    I'm in urgent need of it for a project.

    A Gravity Forms user posted a solution to this, it requires custom code and implements the customization when a post is published in WordPress:
