Can I use PHP in the hidden field? If yes, can I then pass the output of the php to the "Thank You" page?

I want to pull a random number using PHP and put it into the hidden field, I then need to pass that random number to the thank you page.

We have 4 websites that we need to have this function, so I am assuing we would need to purchase a multiple use copy license.

    Thank you,

Also, if I can't do this using PHP in the hidden field, do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks again.

  3. Robert,
Yes, you can use one of our hooks to dynamically populate hidden fields with any value you want. You will then be able to pass that hidden field value to the thank you page.
We have some code samples on how to do it, so when you are ready just let me know I will can send to you.

You will need a Multi or Developer license for 4 domains. We currently have a coupon code (GFDEV50) for a $50 discount for the developer license, plus you will have a chance to win a Netbook. http://www.gravityforms.com/netbook-promotion/.

    Alex,

Please send the code examples to me at the email address below, thanks!

Looking at the pricing, shouldn't I be able to use the "Multi Site Support" license for $99 that supports 5 domains? All of the websites belong to my company, we do not build websites for anyone else.

  5. Yes, if you have 4 sites the Multi Site license would certainly work. Alex was just pointing out that there is currently a promotion running on the Developer License, which would enable you to use it on more sites if your company decides to launch more.

As for the code examples, there are 2 different ways to do what you want to do. Either using PHP and Gravity Forms API hook, or using a function call. So it really depends on how you decide to use the plugin as to which one is going to suit your needs.

    Carl,

Do you have a different payment option besides PayPal? We had a huge problem with PayPal last year. We had a group of customers (we think they were working together) defraud us out of just over $9,000 of product using PayPal and PayPal was no help in recovering the money from the customer. For this reason it is our company policy to never use PayPal again.

If the only option to purchase Gravity Forms is through PayPal then I regret we will have to look for another solution elsewhere.

    Thank you.

Never mind, I just receive special permission from accounting to use PayPal.

Do you have to send me the function call details or are they included in the download?

    Thanks again.

  8. Hey Robert, your user account should now be able to view and access the Gravity Forms support forum. Go ahead and post a new thread in that forum and outline exactly what you want to do in detail and we can assist you by providing some options code snippets to help you achieve what you want to do. Thanks!
