Populate drop downs from values in CSV file

  1. I would like to create a form that pre-populates the next drop down based on the choice made in the previous drop down. After the final choice is made and the submit button is pressed, a pop up opens displaying the requested data.

Please see this example "Search Your Vehicle Here" top right area of this page: http://www.quantumtuning.co.uk

I have CSV files with the values used in this example and I want to produce exactly the same result. Can this be done with Gravity Forms?

  2. Did you figure out how to do this?

  3. Linked drop downs are not a feature of Gravity Forms. You could do something like this with conditional logic, but it would be cumbersome. Drop downs which work like this are more of a custom application than a feature found in form building software.

  4. Hi Vanelli,

I had a guy write a plugin for me. Cost a bit though, and a bit clunky.

  5. Thanks for the update Paulo. Do you have an example of this code working somewhere so we can see how it works, and can you tell us what is clunky about it? Is it the admin side or the public side which is clunky?
