Post fields: Categories and WYSIWYG editor for body

Hi there - I've just purchased a licence for Gravity Forms and wanted to say it's superb. Great work.

Two additional features would be handy:

    (1) There's a notable absence of people using the form being able to select from available categories (i.e., there's no category field that one can add to from the post field options). That would be very handy.

    (2) There's no WYSIWYG editor for the post body field. That too would be very handy. Its absence is a notable point of distinction between GF and TDO Mini Forms.

Don't get me wrong. This is an awesome plugin, and well worth the cost. Would be even better though if it had these things.

    Cheers
    Richard

  2. Thanks Richard, we have a laundry list of feature enhancements for the post fields that we plan on implementing down the road. Both of those are on the list along with a bunch of other features people are going to love.

    Thanks for the feedback!

  4. Please when are you planning to include WYSIWYG editor for the post body field. Should I wait for it or rather make my own solution?

  5. @webikon It's already possible to incorporate a rich text editor with the Post Body field (or any textarea) via a customization. See this thread for details:

As the textarea fields are standard textarea fields you can integrate editors such as ckeditor pretty easily.
