Post Forms: Can users create new categories?

    Hello,
I plan on using GF for content creation -- can users add new categories to their posts / forms?

Another question, when a registered user is logged in and submits a form, can the author of this posts automatically be set to a pre-defined other user (for example named "Group 1") ignoring the original submitter?

    Thanks!

  2. Regarding question two: you can use the logged in user, or pre-define an author. So, yes, you can ignore the submitter.

When you say "users" and "posts/forms" do you mean someone submitting your form, can they create a new category? If that's the question, no, the person submitting a form cannot create a new category.

Thank you very much. -- Yes, I meant submitters adding new categories. Is this perhaps on your agenda / a planned feature already?

  4. We'll take it as a suggestion. I have not heard a discussion of it lately, but I will see if someone can update this topic with more recent information. It's also possible it can be worked around with the hooks built in to Gravity Forms, but it would not be available to you in the form builder. It would require some customization.
