Pre-purchase question

  1. I want to buy a single license for a project that I am working on and wanted to know if I could do the following;

    after logging in recognise if the member is playing away or home for that week, then based on this information if the members team is playing home allow them to select one player from each category (3 in total) but if they are playing away be able to select 2 players from each category (the categories are stored in a database using a plug in called custom tables) and will be displayed in a drop down which I would like to be pulled dynamically.

    I am already using other plug ins like members and peters re-direct on log in and custom tables and wanted to check they will work with gravity forms?

    Thanks in advance

  2. You can accomplish all this but it will require some custom code on your part. Nothing you describe is outside the realm of what you can accomplish with Gravity Forms, but you'll have to add some custom code using the available hooks and filters.

  4. Also currently WP is installed in a sub-directory, however once the site is ready to go live it will be moved to the main directory. Can I activate it in the sub-directory and then move it later without any issues? The url will be the same for both.

  5. When moving WordPress, I recommend exporting all the forms, then importing them after you move the site. Instructions for moving WordPress can be found here:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

    If you move the site without first exporting the forms, your forms will likely not work after moving the site.

    Developer documentation is located here:

    If you don't have much PHP experience, you may have difficulty accomplishing what you need to do with Gravity Forms. Your customization will require some custom code. You can always find help on our job board http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/forum/job-board
