PrePurchase Question: About Using Multiple Add-ons at the same time

  1. Hey All,

    First off,

I've been using Gravity Forms for almost a year now and it is - BY FAR - the single best piece of software I've used in conjunction with WordPress. I absolutely love it! It saves me so much time and I can just do so much with it. I've used it for moderated registration, job applications, custom posts, advanced dynamic contact forms, client acquisition forms, service setup forms, and so much more. Incredible. It's simple, it's powerful, and it works every time.

(feel free to use the above as a review some where in your marketing)

    Second,

I've got a new project that I'm working on that is going to stretch the limits of what I know how to do with Gravity form and will require some of your add-ons, but I want to know if I can even do what I wan before I upgrade.

    Here's what I'm doing:
Creating a directory site for a specific business category in my area. I've already got the Wordpress Posts all customized to have all of the functionality that I want (images, ratings, etc.).

What I want to do is to have four things happen all at once with a single form submission.
    1) User Registration - the listing creator would become a member and their login details would be sent to them.
    2) The listing data (all done with custom fields, post fields, and excerpts, etc.) would be automatically published and authored by the form submitter.
    3) The Users eMail and Name would be dropped onto our MailChimp list, where they'd receive an email offering them a free gift for confirming subscription.
    4) Payment: most listing will be free, but there will be a paid option and should the user choose one of the paid listing options, I'd like them to be sent to paypal and back... and have the above three things only happen if payment is confirmed.

I know that's asking a lot of a little form plugin, but It looks like it would be possible with the add-ons and some fancy-pants conditional logic.

    Thanks so much!
    Richard Matthews

PS - Is it possible to export a form (not it's data, it's structure) from one site and imported to another, so that it doesn't have to be re-created on a second site?

  2. Yep, this is all possible. :)

And yes, you can export a form separately from it's entries.
