Hi,

Firstly I would like to say that when a solution is found for a problem it is best to include the solution in the post. Please see http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/signature-image-to-display-in-email-notification#post-49743

This is extremely frustrating for people who have exactly the same problem and read through the post full of hope but get to the end to find it has been solved in private.

Anyway, enough ranting, I would like to print out a form with a signature on it. If this requires that I email the form and print the email out so be it. I just don't want to have to resort to a screen dump.

I have tries the solution in the post above but with no joy.

Hey Chris, sure the form is at http://www.trueliberals.org.nz/?page_id=115.

The signature doesn't show in notification emails. When I try printing the form it just gives the file name. The short code above doesn't work just gives file name as well. I am inserting the img tag in the HTML as suggested.

Check out this form:

Submit with a valid email address and you will receive the standard user notification, but with the signature image attached.

Here is the full content of the user notification for this form:
```
This is the "all fields" notification:
{all_fields}
END "all fields" notification.

"All Fields" does not include the signature.  So here is the signature by itself:
<img src="{Signature:4}" alt="signature for {Name (First):1.3} {Name (Last):1.6}" />
```
Depending on the email client on the other end, images may not be shown by default and might have to be allowed or something similar. Test it out and let me know if you need any additional help.

Hi Chris,

Tried the same on my server and I get a broken image link. The image is just the file name e.g. 5029c4f093b717.55993540.png rather than the full path to my signature image e.g. .\wp-content\uploads\gravity_forms\signatures\5029c4f093b717.55993540.png

Have I set up something wrong?

I have experienced the same broken image link as described but only when resending notifications from the entry admin. The URL location for the signature image gets omitted when I resend.

When filling in a form the original notification is working for me with the signature merge code resolving ok. Just when resending. I have reported via email my problem to Alex at gravity forms support by coincidence today.

If you get this broken link all the time it is a different problem. If you get it only with resending then it sounds like it could be a common problem.

I believe there is an updated version of the plugin on the way that addresses the problem of broken image link when resending notifications.

I have a priority support ticket raised for some signature add-on issues and as part of that have been issued with an updated version to check out. It fixes this problem so hopefully it won't be long before the new version is available for everyone.

Keep your eyes out for the update when it comes!
